Sónar 2026 steps forward with 65 new additions, upgraded production and stage design, and a rebooted Sónar+D

Sónar makes its definitive move for the 2026 edition. From June 18–20, the festival not only completes its line up but activates a structural transformation: a unified format with uninterrupted music and six stages redesigned from the ground up by cultural architects TWOFIFTYK.

Highlights of the announcement:

The massive headline is the long-awaited debut of The Prodigy, leading a list of 65 new names including Dom Dolla, Sara Landry, and Reinier Zonneveld’s R2 project (a live set featuring holographic AI). They join previously announced heavyweights Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, and Amelie Lens.

Rebooted Sónar+D and city-wide expansion:

Sónar+D: Moves to the historic Llotja de Mar on Thursday and Friday with a new €25 entry ticket. Additionally, the festival introduces SonarHub at Fira as the main meeting point.
SonarCar x STOOR: Three days of 100% improvised hardware live sessions by Speedy J and guests in a 360º format.
Sónar District: Parc del Fòrum joins the map on Saturday, hosting the return of Sónar Kids and sessions by labels like Solid Grooves and Metamorfosi (Joseph Capriati).

Combined with the OFFSónar schedule at Poble Espanyol, Sónar Week confirms its status as the global capital of music, innovation, and technology.
