Shlomo shares next single from forthcoming ‘HEARTCORE’ LP, teaming up with Junkie Kid on ‘NOT THE SAME’

Shlomo has teamed up once again with hardstyle producer Junkie Kid for a fierce new collaboration, ‘NOT THE SAME’, landing February 13 via Taapion Records.

Marking another step in Shlomo’s recent evolution towards high-BPM, emotionally driven club music, ‘NOT THE SAME’ fuses hard techno intensity with hardstyle energy and melodic tension. Built between Paris and Mexico, often during late night sessions shaped by the pair’s time difference, the track channels that nocturnal strain into something both punishing and cathartic.

Driven by machine-like synth pressure, dense bass weight and a soaring, emotive vocal hook, the single balances brutality with vulnerability. It’s a peak-time weapon, but one that leans into feeling as much as force.

“Working again with Junkie Kid felt natural,” Shlømo says. “He’s a true hardstyle prodigy with a sharp and uncompromising sound. The track was built between Paris and Mexico, often late at night because of the time difference; that nocturnal tension really shaped the energy of the record.”

Junkie Kid adds that the track reflects their shared love of “melodic breaks” and “hard drops”, pushing their sound into fresh territory for both fanbases.

The release lands with both an Extended Mix and Radio Edit, and follows a run of high-impact material that continues to position Shlomo as one of Europe’s most uncompromising voices in contemporary hard techno.
