Reyus announces multi-genre debut album ‘i'm listening’ with first single 'around you (ft. Alyssa Thomas)'
Independent electronic artist REYUS announces the release of his genre-spanning debut album I’m Listening, set for full release on September 25th, 2026. The announcement arrives alongside the release of the album’s lead single "Around You," featuring vocalist Alyssa Thomas, out now as of August 21st.
Across 20 tracks recorded between London, Dorking, and Ibiza, I’m Listening merges elements of electronic, House, Garage, Techno, Pop, and Rock. Reflecting influences from artists like Four Tet, Jamie xx, Bicep, and Fred again., the ambitious body of work moves between high-energy club moments and introspective soundscapes while exploring themes of internal thought, relationships, and emotional connection.
“This album represents the kind of artist I wanted to be when I was a kid. Not nailed down to one genre or subgenres, I hope there’s something for everyone, for different moods, for dancing too and some just for listening to, depending on the listener. I listen to a wide range of music and I create tracks based on what or how I feel when I'm creating them, that's how I hope this album is received. I hope people appreciate the range of creativity whether some songs are for them or not, like I do all the time as a creator. Based in Dorking, England, REYUS spent nine years developing his sound across the underground before establishing his own label to maintain total creative autonomy. Having earned support from heavyweights like Tiësto, Solomun, Diplo, Mau P, and CamelPhat, alongside headline dates at Ministry of Sound, E1, and Café Mambo Ibiza, REYUS opens the next chapter of his artistic evolution with I’m Listening.
