Nigerian producer KDDO releases debut single on his own Pentlife imprint
KDDO, the Lagos-born producer and DJ whose credits include Chris Brown's Under The Influence and Davido's Fall, has released the first single on his newly launched independent label Pentlife Music.
KDDO began DJing at 14 and has spent more than a decade as one of the most in-demand producers in contemporary music. His catalogue has generated over 8 billion streams worldwide, earned multiple Billboard number ones and a 2023 BMI Award, and secured him Headies Producer of the Year and the distinction of being the first African producer and DJ to receive RIAA certification.
Qalbi blends emotive melodies with hypnotic house production plus Mr. Kenou and Arabic Piano, whose piano work contributed to Keinemusik's global hit Thandaza.
