Luuk Van Dijk Returns to Three Six Zero Recordings With ‘Pretty Girl’ Featuring Sierra Volt
After generating more than 12 million impressions on TikTok and hundreds of thousands of unofficial streams, the Dutch producer’s latest release brings together classic house, UK garage and the minimal grooves that have defined his sound.
Luuk Van Dijk has returned to Three Six Zero Recordings with Pretty Girl, a collaboration with Sierra Volt that had already established a considerable following before its official release on October 30. Driven by a series of viral moments across TikTok, where the track accumulated more than 12 million impressions, its anticipation extended to SoundCloud, where unofficial uploads surpassed 625,000 streams. The numbers reflect a growing appetite for Van Dijk’s approach to house music, one that draws on familiar influences without becoming overly dependent on nostalgia.
Built around a rolling bassline, swung percussion and Sierra Volt’s playful vocal delivery, Pretty Girl moves between classic house, UK garage and contemporary minimal house. Its production relies on rhythmic movement rather than excessive layering, allowing the relationship between bass, drums and vocals to carry the track. That restraint has become an increasingly recognisable element of Van Dijk’s work, particularly as his productions continue to reach audiences beyond the underground circuit.
The release also marks his return to Three Six Zero Recordings following Good 4 U, his 2024 collaboration with Kolter, which has accumulated more than 12 million streams across digital platforms. Since then, Van Dijk has continued expanding his catalogue through collaborations that reflect his position within a new generation of house producers. His work with DJ BORING on Precious Diamond and his contribution alongside Sam Alfred and Storm Mollison to Connected By Light, featured on Alfred’s No More EP through Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint, demonstrate an ability to move between different interpretations of contemporary club music.
That versatility has become equally apparent behind the decks. Recent back-to-back performances with DJ Seinfeld at HARD Summer, Sidney Charles at ARC Music Festival and DJ BORING at RAW CUTS have placed Van Dijk alongside artists whose approaches to house music share an emphasis on groove, musical curiosity and dancefloor functionality. Rather than committing to a single stylistic direction, his sets move through the intersections of house, garage and stripped-back club rhythms.
Throughout 2026, his touring schedule has reflected that expanding international presence. In Ibiza, he appeared across several of the island’s major club programmes, including Paradise at [UNVRS], Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi at Amnesia and multiple Eastenderz appearances at Hï Ibiza. His UK schedule included Parklife, a Creamfields HALO performance streamed through Beatport and two sold-out You&Me events at Manchester’s Warehouse Project.
The release of Pretty Girl also coincided with a bespoke pop-up event during Amsterdam Dance Event, bringing the track into a city that has played an important role in Van Dijk’s artistic development. The activation connected the online anticipation surrounding the record with the physical club culture that continues to shape his career.
With the final months of 2026 still ahead, Van Dijk’s schedule includes an extended four-hour JOY set, an appearance at the inaugural Time Warp Los Angeles and a booking at Tomorrowland’s first full-scale Asian festival in Thailand. He will close the year in Australia with performances at Lost Paradise and Beyond The Valley.
For Van Dijk, Pretty Girl arrives at a moment when his productions and touring career are reinforcing one another. The track’s success before its official release illustrates how contemporary dance music increasingly circulates between social platforms, unofficial uploads and club environments. Yet beneath that changing landscape, the appeal of his latest record remains rooted in something considerably more straightforward: a bassline, a vocal and a groove designed to keep people moving.
