Lorenzo Raganzini Announces Debut Album Techno Rebels

Italian DJ and producer Lorenzo Raganzini has confirmed the release of his debut album, Techno Rebels, arriving April 2026. Alongside the announcement comes the project’s latest single, Berlin Ecstasy, out now.

For over a decade, Raganzini has operated at the sharper edge of the techno spectrum, shaping dance floors through his involvement with HEX and cultivating a sound defined by weight, tension and industrial grit. In 2025, he redirected that momentum inward, focusing fully on his solo vision. The result is Techno Rebels, a body of work that moves beyond club functionality into autobiography.

Described by the artist as “my life in sound,” the album fuses techno, industrial textures, metal inflections and the fractured pulse of 90s big beat. Its opening statement, We Are Rebels, set the tone in December with a forceful blend of broken-beat drive and metallic atmospherics. It was less a single and more a manifesto; an assertion of identity for those who exist outside expectation and choose movement over conformity.

Where that first release was confrontational and declarative, Berlin Ecstasy shifts the lens inward. The track channels the heightened intimacy of long club nights, where sweat, eye contact and rhythm collapse distance between strangers. It is raw yet euphoric, driven by heavy percussion but softened by emotional undertones. Raganzini captures the fleeting romance of the dance floor without romanticising it; the connection feels urgent, physical and immediate.

Conceptually, Techno Rebels is structured as a narrative. Each track title represents a chapter first written by hand before any production began. Lorenzo documented environments, architecture, sensations and emotional states in text, then translated those impressions into sound design. The process was solitary and deliberate. No collaborators, no external features, no dilution of intent. Just one artist constructing a sonic world from lived experience.

The album emerges from a turbulent personal period, and that instability fuels its intensity. There is abrasion in the drums, but also uplift in the melodies. Darkness coexists with propulsion. Industrial force meets rave nostalgia. The friction between these elements mirrors the contradictions of the last few years; fast, chaotic, beautiful.

With Techno Rebels, Lorenzo Raganzini positions himself not just as a DJ or producer, but as a narrator of his own evolution. The project is uncompromised and direct, an unfiltered transmission of identity through volume and texture.
