Eli Brown opens a new chapter with “Electrify”, the first single from debut album Panic Attack
Eli Brown has unveiled “Electrify”, the first single from his forthcoming debut album Panic Attack, arriving via Insomniac Records on 10 July. The release marks the beginning of a new phase for the Bristol-born producer, whose rise has consistently balanced underground credibility with large-scale festival appeal.
Built around soaring melodies, driving percussion and a vocal hook designed for peak-time moments, “Electrify” leans into the euphoric side of techno while drawing inspiration from the emotional release of 90s trance. Rather than focusing purely on intensity, the track captures the communal spirit that has long defined rave culture, placing shared experience at the centre of its narrative.
”‘Electrify’ is the first track off my forthcoming album ‘Panic Attack,’ and the ethos behind the album was to try and take the listener back to a time where you lost yourself in the rave, that carefree attitude and escapism where nothing else mattered on the dancefloor,” Brown explains. “To me, ‘Electrify’ really embodies that ethos. It gives me that euphoric feeling I get from 90s trance, the kind of feeling you get at the end of a night where all you want to do is hug your friends.”
The single offers the first glimpse of Panic Attack, a project that looks beyond functional club music to explore the emotional resonance of the dancefloor. While Brown’s productions have become synonymous with warehouse-ready energy, the album promises to revisit the feelings that first drew him into rave culture.
Over the past few years, Brown has established himself as one of techno’s most recognisable names, performing across major festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, Awakenings and Insomniac’s flagship events such as EDC Las Vegas. At the same time, he has continued to cultivate his underground identity through his Arcane imprint, which recently celebrated its 100th release with the Pan-Pot collaboration “Coming In Heavy.”
That ability to move comfortably between festival main stages and club-focused releases has become one of Brown’s defining characteristics. His productions continue to resonate across both worlds without abandoning the direct, high-impact sound that has shaped his career.
With “Electrify”, Eli Brown begins the rollout of what is set to become his most ambitious project to date, offering an emotionally driven introduction to Panic Attack while reaffirming his place at the forefront of contemporary techno.
