Barcelona’s Brunch Electronik Festival expands to 3 days for 2026

Barcelona, we need to talk. For years, Brunch Electronik has been the city’s worst kept secret: a series of sun-drenched Sunday parties that grew into a global brand without ever losing its local soul. Now? The secret’s well and truly out. And it’s getting louder.

From 7–9 August, Brunch Electronik Festival returns to Parc del Fòrum for its fourth edition, and this time they’re doing it across three full days. That’s right—the festival that started as a weekend affair has officially expanded to a Friday-to-Sunday takeover of Barcelona’s waterfront, cementing its status as one of the Mediterranean’s defining late-summer electronic music events.

With over 100 artists spanning the full spectrum of contemporary electronic music—from house to techno to the sounds of the global underground—this year’s edition is the most ambitious yet. And with the festival securing its home at Parc del Fòrum through to 2028, it’s clear Brunch isn’t going anywhere.

The Lineup: A Masterclass in Diversity

Let’s get straight to it. The 2026 lineup is stacked.

Friday kicks things off with a heavyweight quartet: Kaytranada, Jeff Mills, Miss Monique and Paul Kalkbrenner. That’s the Haitian-Canadian groove merchant, the Detroit techno pioneer, the melodic techno powerhouse and the Berlin live legend all on one bill. If that doesn’t get your feet moving, nothing will.

Saturday turns up the heat with Eric Prydz, Luciano, Floating Points (Live) and a rare BASHKKA b2b Sally C collaboration. Prydz’s visual spectacles are the stuff of festival legend, while Floating Points’ live show promises something altogether more organic and unhinged.

Sunday belongs to The Blaze (DJ Set), who close out the weekend with their signature emotive French touch. They’re joined by Mind Against, Parra for Cuva and RY X (DJ), bringing a cinematic, melodic close to three days of mayhem.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The full lineup reads like a who’s who of contemporary electronic music: Jamie Jones, CamelPhat, Deborah de Luca, I Hate Models, SNTS, 999999999, Rødhåd, Marrøn, Chaos in the CBD, Shanti Celeste, Paramida, Yu Su, Seth Troxler, Enzo Siragusa—the list goes on.

And for the heads? Several performances are exclusive to Brunch. Kaytranada plays his only peninsular show of 2026. Cassius (Live) and Acid Arab (Live) deliver their only Spanish live dates of the year. And b2b sets like Âme b2b Trikk, Amémé b2b LP Giobbi and that BASHKKA b2b Sally C are the kind of rare collisions that make festivals worth travelling for.

Barcelona’s local scene also gets its moment in the sun, with Paula GM, Brieela, INEXXSTABLE, NHYMPH, Mercè, B1N0, Lildami and Flashy Ice Cream all flying the flag for the city’s current wave of creative talent.

New Stages, New Perspectives

Brunch Electronik has always believed the experience extends beyond the music, and for 2026, several key stages have been completely reimagined.

GrooviK gets an industrial-inspired redesign featuring a striking circular roof and two-level structure that brings artists and audience closer together. IconiK by Yamaha expands into one of the festival’s landmark spaces, combining large-scale architecture with an ambitious new visual concept.

The Open Stage—completely redesigned for 2026—returns for its third edition, platforming emerging talent with eight DJs per day selected from an open call. Meanwhile, HarmoniK, EuphoriK by Estrella Damm and RhythmiK all return with refreshed programming, including the ongoing collaboration with Resident Advisor that continues to champion both established artists and the next generation.

A Festival That Listens

Brunch Electronik has built its reputation by listening to its community—and this year’s edition introduces a series of improvements shaped directly by feedback from Brunchers.

Upgraded L-Acoustics sound across the site. Redesigned public spaces. Improved crowd flow. Expanded food options. Four cold-water refill stations (following the 90,000 litres distributed in 2025), new shaded rest areas, misting systems and additional covered spaces. Fresh fruit available free of charge throughout the day.

Free shuttle buses will connect Parc del Fòrum with Poble Espanyol on Friday and Saturday for the official afterparties at Input, Upload, La Terraza and NACAR—helping reduce transport emissions while making it easier for audiences to move between venues. Sunday’s closing afterparty will be hosted at NACAR.

Accessibility remains central to the festival, too. In partnership with Music For All Foundation, Brunch will once again provide adapted spaces, specialist assistance and dedicated resources for visitors with hearing, visual and mobility disabilities.

From Sunday Sessions to Three-Day Spectacle

Since 2012, what began as a series of open-air Sunday parties has grown into one of Europe’s defining electronic music brands, with events taking place year-round across Barcelona and around the world. Brunch Electronik Festival is where everything comes together: the flagship event that showcases the music, community and spirit that have made Brunch synonymous with the city itself.

This year, with three days, over 100 artists, redesigned stages and a renewed commitment to sustainability and comfort, the festival is bigger than ever—but it remains unmistakably true to the city and community that built it.
